Kamil Idris’ Work to Develop a Strong Sudan

Sudan has not been immune from the social and political conflict in Africa and the Middle East. As an advocate for peace, Kamil Idris was proud of the role and support his country showed to promoting peace and helping refugees. For years Kamil Idris’ role has been two-fold; he works to strengthen the Sudanese economy and works to develop peace in the region.

To strengthen the economy of Sudan, as well as other developing nations, Kamil Idris put a lot of focus on the role of intellectual property. Protecting the creativity and encouraging the growth of new ideas is what can drive development in a poorer nation. Kamil Idris’ work earned him numerous awards and medals from a number of developed and developing countries such as Sudan, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.

Encouraging social development is also important to strengthening Sudan and neighboring regions. Kamil Idris pushes for the acceptance and protection of basic freedoms, human rights, and peaceful co-existence. Kamil Idris believes in development and the transfer of technology, education, and information. In 2010, Kamil Idris was awarded the Decoration of Loyalty and Gratitude of Omdurman National Broadcasting Station in Sudan.  In 2013, he was awarded the Decoration of the Syrian Revolution and the Decoration of Rashid Diab Cultural Center, in Khartoum, Sudan.

Kamil Idris believes a strong country is one where citizens feel safe and secure. In the past, he has helped raise funds for refugees in Africa and tries to help people in conflict due to cultural or religious differences. He works for the defense of Syrian people, the defense of rights and freedoms, and the reconciliation and religious co-existence through the Sudan Foundation.
